As part of the food truck prep shift for Salt + Light, you will be helping to make sandwiches, portion meals, and load the food truck with food truck necessities alongside Salt + Light staff. Please be prepared to walk, lift, and stand for extended periods of time.
This volunteer shift will prepare the food truck with food and necessities for the deliveries to follow. Volunteers will work alongside Salt + Light staff to upload health and safety protocols when preparing meals and items for our neighbors experiencing homelessness. If needed, they will also utilize Salt + Light Vehicle to pick up food donations in Visalia and Tulare. Please reach out for additional details.
Please meet at our office in Visalia 10 minutes prior to the volunteer shift beginning to allow for check-in.
Working alongside Salt + Light staff, volunteers will uphold health and safety protocols when preparing dignified meals and items for our neighbors experiencing homelessness.

Salt + Light Works is a 501(c)3 designated charitable organization founded by Adrianne Hillman and located in Tulare County, California.
Salt and Light Works, aka Salt + Light, has a mission to cultivate community through dignified homes, jobs, and healing to lift the chronically homeless off the streets of Tulare County.
