Become a valued member of Salt+Light's team and make a difference in the lives of our neighbors experiencing homelessness. As a volunteer, you will play a crucial role in our food truck operations and the "Everyone Eats Today" outreach program.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serve Meals and Essentials: Provide hot and cold meals, palliative care items, dog food, and, above all, offer love and compassion to our neighbors.
BUILD CONNECTIONS: Engage with our neighbors personally, creating meaningful relationships and reminding them they are not alone.
HOW IT WORKS:
Meet at Salt+Light Office: Volunteers will gather at our office to carpool with the food truck.
DELIVER TO LOCATIONS: Travel together to designated spots to serve our neighbors.
RETURN AND CLEAN UP: After serving, return to the office to help clean dishes and tidy up the items used on the truck.

Salt + Light Works is a 501(c)3 designated charitable organization founded by Adrianne Hillman and located in Tulare County, California.
Salt and Light Works, aka Salt + Light, has a mission to cultivate community through dignified homes, jobs, and healing to lift the chronically homeless off the streets of Tulare County.
