The cashier is one of the most important roles in the ReStore. You are often the first person to greet customers and the last person they interact with before they leave. Help us make the ReStore shopping experience a great one. All new cashiers will be trained.
Primary Tasks:
Operate the cash register
Handle cash and credit card transactions
Greet customers and answer questions
Issue sold tags for items
Additional Duties:
Asist with affiliate fundraisers at the register
maintain the organization of the cashier station
process tax exempt purchases

Description
Strong and stable homes help build strong and stable communities. A decent place to live can remove barriers to opportunity, success and health that might have been part of a family’s life for years, if not generations. Habitat York County builds 1-2 affordable homes a year. We run a ReStore in Kennebunk which sells used furniture, appliances, building supplies and more. All proceeds from the ReStore support our affordable housing mission. We also run a community weatherization and aging in place program that provides services at no cost to eligible low income homeowners in York County.
