Do you enjoy playing games, doing crafts, baking, trivia and/or being a part of discussion groups? Or how about holding a Bible Study providing music, or coming up with your own creative ideas? Our Assisted Living and nursing home residents are eager to participate in small group or one-on-one activities.
This opportunity is more than just the activity. By making time for a senior and doing something they enjoy - you bring value and worth to their life! Come volunteer as an Activity Associate. You can assist the Life Enrichment staff in bringing a variety of opportunities to the residents days!
We continue to follow CDC guidelines for health care including wearing a mask. 87% of residents and over 70% of staff have been vaccinated.
Days and hours are flexible.

Description
St. Augustine Health Ministries is a mission-driven, faith-based, not-for-profit organization affiliated with Catholic Charities and is dedicated to providing a continuum of health care and social services within our community. Within the Health Ministries, St. Augustine Health Campus cares for the chronically ill and aging through short-term rehab, assisted living, and long-term care. The St. Augustine Child Enrichment Center provides early education and child care for 80+ children, beginning at 6 weeks through preschool. Holy Family provides home health care, residential and community-based hospice services. Emerald Village Senior Living provides independent and assisted-living apartments located in the west suburbs for active seniors 55+.
