COVID has impacted the ability of many Orange County residents to acquire food. We provide free food to anyone on a walk up basis M-F between 1-4pm at our HUB of Hope.
We are seeking adult volunteers that are 18 and older who can help with food distribution (not hot meals). Tasks include contact-less client registration, moving food to check out door, handing out food bags and fresh produce, organizing food or basic hygiene supplies, breaking down boxes, general cleanup, Please fill out an online volunteer application to get registered at www.pohoc.org/volunteer. Volunteers must be able to bend and lift 20 lbs and wear closed toed shoes. Spanish speakers are appreciated, but not necessary.
We also run three Community College Food Banks at Fullerton College, Cypress College and NOCE College. If these times don't work for you.
