We need assistance watering trees for our Adaptive Silviculture for Climate Change research plots at Crosby Farm Regional Park! The trees that we have planted are part of a decades-long study to explore which species will thrive in a changing climate in the United States. This summer has been particularly dry, and we need assistance carrying buckets of water to the research plots from the trail. Participants can expect some physical activity, with a 15 minute walk to the work site and lifting about 2 gallons of water per bucket.
If you have questions, please contact Paula Swingley at miss_volunteer@nps.gov. Hope to see you out there!
