MENTOR VOLUNTEER

Take Stock in Children is Florida's flagship and most successful mentoring, college readiness and scholarship program for low-income, academically qualified students. We have had the added challenge of our students and mentors being heavily affected by hurricane Ian. Many of our mentors are not able to continue on due the loss of their homes and property. We need mentors now more than ever! Our middle and high school scholars pledge to meet regularly with their mentors, maintain academic standards, and remain drug and crime free on the way to achieving a high school diploma. Be part of a community of caring, compassionate adults who choose to devote their time to students by offering support, guidance, and encouragement. Just a little of your time per week provides our hard-working students with the tools to thrive throughout high school, into college and positively impact their community. What makes our program unique? People like you that decide to volunteer and inspire our students. The reward for the students is a scholarship to a Florida state college, university, or technical college to continue their education. The reward for our mentor volunteers is being a part of this fantastic journey with your mentee. Interested in changing a life? Join us, become a mentor volunteer.
