As a multimedia intern/volunteer, you will have the opportunity to play an essential role in developing Kimiya International’s identity. You will collaborate with a team of creative people to build engaging content for our online presence. Depending on your interest and skills, you can choose to focus on the area of video, motion graphics, photos, or graphic design.

Essential Duties:

  • Create engaging content to promote the Kimiya International and Fight Club mission.
  • Work with the Kimiya marketing team on digital assets for online marketing.
  • Pitch and produce creative marketing content

Qualifications:

  • Have a can-do attitude and willingness to grow and work in a team environment.
  • Have knowledge or desire to learn the tools to create photography, videography, graphic design, or motion graphics.

Training & Supervision:

  • Participate in initial volunteer onboarding meeting.
  • Training and supervision conducted by Kimiya International Creative Director.

Time Commitment/Location:

  • 5-10 hours/week
  • Editing can be done remotely, shooting to take place primarily in Dallas.

About Kimiya International and Fight Club

Kimiya International is a 501(c)(3) focused on Human Rights advocacy through documentary filmmaking and programming.

KI developed Fight Club to address access, affordability and negative stigma surrounding post-trauma mental health and self-care. Our holistic program combines boxing, yoga and counseling for women who are survivors of trauma.

Kimiya International is a 501(c)(3) focused on human rights advocacy through documentary filmmaking and programmatic therapy. Our award-winning documentary, Transitions, tells the story of an American family that moved to Cambodia to transition young girls out of brothels. Our current project follows the stories of Syrian refugee orphans. But we wanted to also address the pain that people suffer as a results of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
