This Valentine's Day season, share your love for your community by becoming a Disaster Action Team volunteer; you have the power to be a part of something bigger than yourself, help a community member in need and feel good knowing you made an impact.
This volunteer role makes a significant impact on those affected by disasters, most of which are home fires, by responding in a moment's notice to meet their immediate needs. Ensuring that those affected have access to resources for basic necessities such a roof over their head, a bed to sleep in, money for food and clothing, and medical and mental health services.
In this role, you will meet with clients on their worst day to provide comfort, hope, and resources when they need it most.
