No special skills are necessary, just a friendly smile, a listening ear, and an open heart. It will be some of the most rewarding time you'll ever spend. Elara Caring is currently looking for compassionate volunteers willing to donate their time to provide exceptional end-of-journey care to local hospice patients and their families. As a volunteer, you gave that special ability to provide companionship whether playing cards/games, watching old movies, listening to music, or just reminiscing about the past. There is no physical care involved. Hours are flexible - weekdays, evenings, or weekends. All we ask is that you visit your assigned patient 1-2 hours per week. That's it!
