The Advanced Hospice Volunteer Certification program is a positive choice for anyone interested in pursuing a health care career, broadening their knowledge of the health care industry or gaining valuable patient experiences. Elara Caring is looking for high school and college students who are interested in learning more about hospice services while gaining hands on experience with patients, an experience valued by both education institutions and employers. No special skills are necessary, just a listening ear and an open open heart. It will be some of the most rewarding time you'll ever spend. Elara Caring provides a wonderful opportunity to achieve this certification. After completing orientation and training, you may choose from a variety of volunteer experiences to create your own unique area of concentration. Not only will you receive certification, but you will learn more about hospice care, the health care industry, and gain valuable patient experience to pursue a career within the medical or behavioral health field.
