We are looking for volunteers to operate the Public Information Center at Fort Logan National Cemetery. The Public Information Center is open Monday thru Friday from 8:30am to 4:00pm. Volunteers are needed for either a morning or afternoon shift. Volunteers will be meeting greeting visitors, family members, veterans, and members of funeral parties. In some instances the volunteer will encounter family members or friends who are despondent over the loss of a family member or friend who was a veteran. Care, grace and tact, coupled with a since of compassion are what is needed.

Description
Fort Logan National Cemetery is a United States National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado. Fort Logan was named after Union General John A. Logan, commander of US Volunteer forces during the American Civil War. It contains 214 acres and has over 122,000 interments as of 2014. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2016.
