Jewish Big Brothers Big Sister’s (JBBBS) Friend 2 Friend Adults with Disabilities Program matches volunteer friends 1:1 with adults with mild to moderate disabilities. JBBBS is seeking a male volunteer (age 27-40) to be a FRIEND to Nate, a 34 yo man with disabilities living with his father in Westford, MA. Nate can struggle to get out of his home due to anxiety. A FRIEND who could meet Nate for a coffee, a shared hobby, an activity, or just hanging out would be beneficial. Nate loves animals, hiking, meditation, and yoga. He is self-reflective and loves to read, especially self-help books. The best fit match for Nate will be a volunteer between the ages of 27-40 and be someone who can ease his anxiety by doing fun and exciting activities out of the house.
Friends create their own matches and agree to meet just 1x/mo and make at least a year commitment. Volunteers from all religions, ethnicities, and backgrounds welcome. Match support provided by Clinical Match Specialists. Apply HERE ! For any questions: Tania@jbbbs.org
