ORGANIZATION: Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Boston

Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters (JBBBS) Friend 2 Friend Adults with Disabilities Program matches volunteer friends 1:1 with adults with mild to moderate disabilities. JBBBS is seeking a female volunteer (age 27-40) to be a FRIEND to Daniela, a 31yo woman with Down Syndrome who lives in East Boston. Daniela enjoys baking, dancing, and listening to music, especially Justin Bieber and Hannah Montana songs. She has a wonderful smile and is excited to be matched with a friend who is bilingual in English and Spanish. The best match will be a female friend between 27-40 yo who is bilingual in English/Spanish and be able to provide her transportation. Friends agree to meet 1-2x/mo and make at least a year commitment. Volunteers from all religions, ethnicities, and backgrounds welcome. Match support provided by Clinical Match Specialists.
