Community Caregivers is a non-profit that assists our neighbors in Albany & Rensselaer Counties so that they may remain living independently. Our dedicated volunteers grocery shop, provide rides to appointments and make friendly visits. If you can spare a few hours each month, please consider sharing your time with a senior. We currently have a waiting list in Rensselaer County and need your help!

Community Caregivers Neighbors Helping Neighbors The mission of Community Caregivers, Inc. is to enable individuals of all ages to maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life within their homes and communities.
Description
Community Caregivers serves many communities in Albany and Rensselaer Counties. There is no charge for our services.
We are recruiting volunteers who would like to have a rewarding experience. You can drive someone to an appointment, lend a hand to a family facing a medical crisis, grocery shop, help with light household chores, be a friendly visitor or telephone assurance caller.
You can volunteer from one hour a month to twice a week or anything in between. Our volunteers usually serve weekdays, but select opportunities are available evenings or weekends. You select the service level that's right for you and your schedule. We offer orientation, support and volunteer learning opportunities.
