Hospice of the Western Reserve serves patients wherever they consider home. Patients may live in private residences, nursing homes, assisted living facilities or group homes.
We are currently looking for volunteers who are willing to make visits to provide general companionship visits to long-term care facilities, the David Simpson Hospice House, or respite visits ( 2-3 hour commitment) in patient's private residences.
Volunteers should have good listening skills and be able to maintain patient confidentiality.

Description
Hospice of the Western Reserve provides care for patients where ever they call home, whether that be at home, in a nursing home, assisted living, one of our inpatient units, or in a hospital. Care is provided regardless of ability to pay. We use a team approach where volunteers are of equal importance to all other members of the team.
Hospice of the Western Reserve serves Northern Ohio with offices in Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage, Stark, and Summit counties.CAUSE AREAS
