SHINE AND SING CURRICULUM
We want to convert our current Shine & Sing program for medically resilient children into a sustainable, revenue-producing product that would be a national model in working with medically resilient children ages 0-5 in group settings. All profits of the music therapy curriculum will fund sessions for medically resilient children in San Diego County.
The current Shine & Sing program is a collection of tested music therapy strategies. Our music therapists have made numerous modifications as the Shine & Sing program has grown. The intent of the curriculum expansion plan is to take the existing materials and modify them in such a way that they meet national standards for music therapy continuing education, thus maximizing acceptance across various constituencies.
As a small nonprofit with a BIG idea, we need help from talented and experienced professionals throughout the business planning process to the product design and implementation process.
THIS POSITION
We are seeking assistance with the business plan and market analysis. Our ideal candidate:
- Is a business management professional with 8+ years of experience, preferably with an MBA,

- Will contribute expertise, participate in, and guide the strategic planning, business plan development, and market analysis process,
- Will support a culture that encourages staff to ask questions and challenge assumptions, and
- Will preferably develop funding support by identifying sponsorship prospects, making introductions, and articulating the case for support.
