This job announcement covers three opportunities for grant writing with our nonprofit. Please read through the descriptions and add a note to your resume documenting which responsibility you would like to be considered for.

1 Grant Writer

2 Grant Reader/Researcher/Debriefer/Deconstructor

3 Grant Application Content Proofer

_________

GRANT WRITER

An up and coming nonprofit needs a Grant Writer to help with the completion of grant applications, researching grant programs that align with our strategic goals, and managing data files for those specific programs for which we qualify. We need a savvy grant writer who is well-versed at submitting grant applications for nonprofits. Most of the legwork has been done for you. We just need someone to streamline the information and make it look pretty.

The LOIs and Grant Proposals have been written, but we could use your help expanding the content so that we can qualify for more opportunities. Every grant application and platform is different, so we need someone with a knack for detail to do some of the editing on documents and create packages in Dropbox, so that our admins can submit the applications.

Spend the next 90 days with us, assisting with a variety of really interesting projects that we are working on to assist families this summer and throughout the 2022 academic school year. Work from home and at your own pace. We ask for 10 hours of work per week, but will accept 1 hour of good, productive work if that’s all that you are able to commit to. You will be able to set your own schedule and our people are extremely friendly and supportive. All we need from you are your time, the brainpower and for you to have a computer.

Work with the Rebecca Everlene Trust Company and help Chicago children build a foundation for a better future. We are a small organization that packs a big punch when it comes to making a difference.

GRANT READER/DEBRIEFER/DECONSTRUCTOR

We are in need of a volunteer who wouldn't mind reading massive amounts of material, verbally summarizing and presenting that information to the decision makers of our nonprofit, so that we can determine whether we want to pursue those opportunities.

We've started the grant list and may ask that you conduct some research on your own for better opportunities for us, but our list of consideration is pretty lengthy at the moment.

GRANT APPLICATION CONTENT PROOFER

We could use a second pair of eyes to review and proof our grant materials to make certain they comply with the requirements outlined in RFPs and grant announcements. If you are interested in assisting with the actual writing of the grant, we would love to have your support in that area as well.
