Facilitate a Peer-Led Arthritis Group in Jefferson City
Arthritis Foundation Connect Groups are peer-led support, social, and educational groups that regularly meet (currently virtual) to provide connections that are inclusive to adults living with all types of arthritis and rheumatic diseases or to parents/guardians of children with juvenile arthritis.
Facilitators bring people together to provide:
- social and informative events and activities focused on peer support and positive coping strategies
- understanding and encouragement for both people living with arthritis and their loved ones
- strategies supporting members become self-advocates, develop self-management skills and learn how to not just survive life with arthritis but to thrive!
