Are you an animal lover?
Here at TARA, The Animal Rescue Alliance, we are searching for kind and compassionate animal lovers to be the liaison between our pets and their new forever homes. In the last 8 years we have rescued and placed over 1000 animals with their new families. These include Cats, Kittens, Dogs, Puppies, Senior Animals and Birds. Here at Rancho Providencia, a 4 acre ranch, we also provide sanctuary space for a select number of senior and disabled animals.
We are a unique rescue in that we follow our adoptees and their families for their lifetime! WE can save as many kittens as we have Fosters!
We are currently looking for:
Responsible and Loving Volunteer Fosters
To provide a safe and loving environment for 1-4 kittens for approximately 2-10 weeks. We will provide everything you need to care for them, including any training you might need in how to care for a kitten.

Mission Statement
After years of working in animal rescue, in 2011 Kelly Holland founded The Animal Rescue Alliance, a 501(c)3 no-kill shelter and sanctuary. TARA is located at Rancho Providencia, a peaceful, four-acre ranch in Chatsworth, CA. TARA is a haven for goats, horses, donkeys, parrots, geese, cats and dogs.
Description
TARA rescues and finds loving homes for abandoned and abused companion and farm animals and offers sanctuary to those who have special needs and can sometimes be more difficult to adopt out. Our animals come from a variety of backgrounds that vary from homeless strays and ferals to animals saved from high kill shelters. Wherever we see an animal in need we help.
