Are you looking to make a difference in the lives of children and communities in Africa? Uganda Rural Fund is a registered 501c3 nonprofit community organization offering volunteer opportunities in Uganda, East Africa. Volunteers work with children at the children's home, teach/tutor children in kindergarten, elementary/primary or secondary/high school level, teach computer skils, work on the farm, teach vocational/trade skills, carryout administrative work, fundraise, organize community workshops, engage in construction work, etc.

Our volunteers are housed with host families to get immersed in the life and culture of the community. For more info, please visit our volunteering page. We have both short and long-term opportunities for individuals and groups.

Our current efforts involves the construction of an orphans' school in Uganda (kindergarten, primary, and high school), building homes for vulnerable families, a women's group, medical outreach, and several other programs.
