Uganda Rural Fund, a 501c3 nonprofit has volunteer opportunities in Uganda, East Africa. Volunteers work with kids at the orphanage, teach/tutor in the after-school program, teach computer skils, work on the farm, teach in the vocational school, do administrative work, fundraise, give community workshops, help in construction, feed animals, etc.

Our volunteers are housed with host families to get immersed in the life and culture of the community. For more info, please visit our volunteering page. We have both short and long-term opportunities for individuals and groups.

Our current efforts involves construction of an orphans' school in Uganda, running an orphanage, youth group, women's group, and several other programs. The Academy will consist of a vocational school, a community library, a computer center, and clinic.
