PRISM relies on the dedicated contributions of volunteers to further its initiatives. Further, we require a constant influx of funding in order to carry out our mission. Fundraising Directors oversee our Fundraising Task Force. Currently, this is an unpaid volunteer position.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate community service and attendance logs with other Task Force Directors and Volunteer Managers

  • Develop and plan fundraising initiatives (securing venues, coordinating outreach and promotion, organizing volunteers and tasks, etc)

  • Coordinate grant writing and applications

  • Manage donor relationships and documentation

  • Secure special gifts and endowments

Qualifications:

  • Experience coordinating fundraising events

  • Experience managing record-keeping for donations, special gifts, and endowments

  • Experience writing grant proposals and proven success in securing grant funding

Description

PRISM FL, Inc was formed as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in April 2020. We provide educational resources to LGBTQ+ youth throughout South Florida and are gearing to open a community center in Palm Beach County within the next year.
