Virtual Classroom Supervisor Needed! (For High School Student Volunteers)

This is intended to find two or three volunteers for the classroom supervision for the following:

• 6:00pm - 7:00pm, Thursday, Nov 18 Easter Time;
• 6:00pm - 7:00pm, Thursday, Nov 25 Easter Time.

Linguistic requirements: The Supervisor should be fluent in both Mandarin and English. Seniority requirements: The Supervisor should be entering Grade 10, 11 or 12 this Fall. ------------------------------ ------------------------------ ------------------------------ ----------------------

• 7:00pm - 7:45pm, Monday, Nov 22 Eastern Time;

The supervisor supervises the order of the virtual classroom - in this case, the other two persons, a student and a class instructor. The key responsibilities include:

1. The supervisor checks in the class 5 mins before the class start time in order to check in the student and the class instructor.
2. The supervisor provides academic support to the class instructor, for example, if the class instructor gets stuck in explaining a hard Math concept.
3. The supervisor approves the volunteer hour of the class instructor and writes a Supervisor's Report after the class on the same of their supervision.
4. The supervisor takes over the class in event of emergency.
