The Jessica Green Foundation is a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit charity organization seeking individuals that are interested in giving their time, talents, and skills in the following areas: accounting, office and administrative, social media and marketing, project management, graphic arts, event coordinator, and a fundraiser director whose responsibilities would include developing fundraising programs, recruiting sponsors and volunteers, and encouraging support through promotional activities. We also welcome other skills or knowledge that you could offer to a growing non-profit organization. We are also seeking the following officer positions: chairperson, vice president, executive administrative assistant. If you are interested, please contact Helen Green at jgfoundation@bellsouth.net. Please put "Interested in the JGF" in the subject space.

The Jessica Green Foundation was founded in 2008 as a legacy in memory of Helen Green’s daughter Jessica, who was autistic. Our mission is to assist individuals on the autism spectrum with access to therapy services, educational and social skills programs to have a more inclusive and self-determined life. Helen helped Jessica to have these necessary tools so that she could understand better how to live within her community and to achieve all that she could. Jessica had a determined attitude and gave her all in everything she did, always establishing that she and others with special needs deserved a normal life. Although Jessica has passed, Helen has continued her journey to help others on the autism spectrum; to make a significant difference in the quality of their lives now and into the future.

To continue the vital growth of the organization and impact the lives of even more families with an autistic child, the Jessica Green Foundation would be honored for you to join us on this journey; to help continue the hope for children and individuals who struggle with autism. Working together can make a difference!

Kind regards,

Helen Green

Description

The Jessica Green Foundation was created in 2008 as a legacy in memory of Helen's daughter, Jessica Green, who was autistic. A couple of weeks before Jessica's passing, she wanted to go out into the community and help others as well as herself to have a life in their communities. Jessica's love for what she wanted to do for others, lives on in her foundation. Jessica's Mom, Helen continues the journey of helping other autistic lives by seeing them be included in their communities and living their lives to the fullest. Our mission is so important because making it possible for individuals on the spectrum to be able to get and continue their special programs, skills, and therapy services will empower them to be all that they can be in their communities.
