Meals on Wheels of Northern Illinois is looking for a computer whiz volunteer to conduct research on potential outreach locations. This will include compiling a list of locations along with contact information in order to place ads for volunteer recruitment and for notices about our Meals on Wheels programs.
Volunteers will be assigned a specific community/region to search.
This is a REMOTE position that can be done at any time/day of your choosing.

Our vision is to live in an environment where seniors and persons with disabilities are valued and are an active part of our community. We currently serve nearly 600,000 meals a year to over 7,500 seniors and persons with disabilities in Suburban Cook, Kendall & Grundy Counties.

Join us for lunch!
Fight against hunger by giving back to the older adults in your community! The Community Nutrition Network needs your help serving meals at our café sites as well as delivering meals to homebound adults. These opportunities can last anywhere from 1-3 hours and are located at various sites throughout the northern Illinois area.
At The Community Nutrition Network, we strive to keep older adults and persons with disabilities an active part of their community by providing them with the support they need. Much more than a meal, our programs combat depression and isolation, offers companionship, and provides safety checks for homebound adults.
