To educate and empower underprivileged children and support them till they are gainfully employed. To do our best so that the current generation of underprivileged children living below the poverty line integrate seamlessly into mainstream society. To impart quality education, and all-round development, including skill building, in order to provide avenues for employment that are suited to every child’s dominant intelligence and strengths.

Project Requirement

Teaching elementary, middle school & high school

  • English
  • Mathematics
  • Elementary - educational games, puzzles with small children
  • Science

Time Commitment: 2-3 hours per Week

Time Duration: 1 Month (minimum)

Location: Work from home / Virtual

About organization Ed Lodge is a newly founded student run organization who aim to provide education in some form for the underprivileged children in the rural parts of Meghalaya.

Mission Statement

Ed Lodge aims to make learning outcome as accessible as possible. We keep the doors of learning open, or working is totally flexible for both Volunteers and students. We try to make the experience as fun, eventful and CHILL as possible!


Ed Lodge was founded freshly, in June 2021. We aim to expand and get as many people, particularly the youth, go be involved with our vision. We want to make learning fun through the peer-peer interaction. We aim to expand this mode to the maximum extent.
Our volunteers are free to decide their duration too, minimum being 4 weeks.
