We are looking for someone experienced in the field of grant writing, venture philanthropy, crowd funding campaigns and/or fundraising for non-profits and social enterprises. Our goal is to raise money and/or create partnerships that will help us work with artisan women in Kenya.

Our mission is to empower artisan women in Kenya make a sustainable, dignified income using skills handed down through generations in weaving, beading, basketry, art and more. We believe that fashion can change the world. How we spend our money is a vote for the word we want for future generations. We achieve this by creating a brand that empowers women, uses organic, eco-friendly, bio-degradable, plant fiber, harnesses ancient craftsmanship and creates elegant, high quality products.

We use the revenue to fund our secondary mission. Reproductive health education and menstrual hygiene kits for girls to help them stay in school, get a consistent education and face their period with dignity.

We are looking for someone that can advice us, brainstorm, research, and write concept notes on women empowerment, poverty eradication, female entrepreneurship, reproductive health, hygiene, African women equity, economic empowerment and any other topics that count.

He or she should have experience in writing the concept paper, and understand how, where, what comes after that.

Please include other grants, campaigns or venture philanthropy achieved.
