ORGANIZATION: Crossroads Hospice and Palliative Care

Crossroads Hospice

Gift of a Day Coordinator: Retired? Time on your hand? Understand the power of hospice? Party planner? Is bringing joy to others your cup of tea? Do you like to take photos? Then we have the volunteer opportunity for you. We offer each of our patients the opportunity to make a memory with friends and/or families. Baseball fans may want one more trip to the K. Music lovers may want to attend a Garth Brooks concert. Or how about a blue grass band bringing music into the patient’s home? Maybe a fishing trip to Lake Jacomo would make a patient and family very happy. If you enjoy planning and executing your plan, then you are the volunteer I am looking for. If you have community connections and are good at getting donations, you will love this role. Do you have 6-10 hours a week to volunteer? E-mail me at sheryl.woods@crossroadshospice.com. Can't wait to hear from you. Sherry Woods, Volunteer Manager, Crossroads Hospice & Palliative Care.

Mission Statement

Crossroads Hospice and Palliative Care is committed to being at the forefront of the hospice care industry, to continually shape the way palliative care is viewed and administered so that everyone can expect more from us.

Description

Expect More From Us. We Do. Why not? That's a question we ask ourselves every day. In fact it is the question responsible for our beginning and has made us what we are today. Because "why not?" helps us find new and better ways to deliver hospice care to patients, families, caregivers, and health care professionals alike. It helps us connect with our communities, share our knowledge, be accessible 24/7, innovate, lead, and raise the bar. In fact "why not?" has helped us create a hospice experience we believe is second to none...and are confident you'll agree.
