Hospice volunteers are ordinary adults with extraordinary love and concern for others. Volunteers can touch lives in many ways. You can make a difference in your life and someone else's in as little as a few hours per week. Volunteers are integral part of the Silverado hospice circle of Care. Our trained volunteers spend time with patients and families to provide support and love. they do this by keeping patients company, reading to them or simply sitting at bedside to hold hands. They give care relief to weary caregivers, run errands, participate in community outreach, helping the office, and provide bereavement support to grieving families. Individuals with musical, artistic, sewing and quilting skills are welcome. Interested please contact Regina Smith 512-470-2285 regina.smith@silverado.com or Luis Caban 512-827-6895 lcaban@silverado.com
