The August festival is free and open to the public. It showcases a wide range of fine art and the work of a select group of artisans on the grass under the many tall trees that shade the Historic Courthouse Plaza in downtown Prescott. Stop by to taste local Arizona wines on Cortez Street. The Festival is hosted by the Mountain Artists Guild, a non-profit group of artists that has been supporting art and art education in the Prescott area since its founding by Mabel Laurence and famous Cowboy Artist George Phippen in 1949.

Volunteer opportunities are available in several areas from information booth, marketing, set-up, break-down, etc. Task information is listed in each shift notes section.

Thank you for helping Mountain Artists Guild- keeping the arts alive!
