Are you a certified pilot, flight instructor, or retired military pilot interested in inspiring the future of aviation? Maybe you’re an 18 year old "X-Plane" simulator expert? Join the Aerospace Museum of California Flight Zone simulator team! Flight Zone volunteers are typically experienced pilots who want to share their love of flying and flight training in an exciting and dynamic simulator environment. Training with museum staff and qualified volunteers is provided.
Interested flight training students can earn valuable simulator time after becoming certified as Flight Zone "Lite" volunteers. Qualified and approved Flight Zone volunteers can earn training opportunities and credentials with the Society of Aviation and Flight Educators (SAFE).
