ORGANIZATION: City of Kennesaw Parks & Recreation Department
Pigs & Peaches is the City of Kennesaw's largest event of the year! It is hosted in Adams Park and consists of BBQ competitions, three stages of music and entertainment, a kids area, and vendors. We rely on volunteers to help us set up, run, and clean up from this event.
We will have a volunteer info session the week before the event or early the week of the event. This is an opportunity for volunteers to see the event layout, meet Parks & Rec staff, learn event details, and ask questions. Date and time will be available closer to the event.
Kennesaw Parks & Rec makes sure that all of our volunteers are well fed. Light snacks and drinks will be available at all times during the event, and volunteers that work through lunch or dinner times will also be fed a meal.
