Ten week series of psycho educational classes that meet weekly. Adults will discuss topics such as unique family dynamics of kinship caregiving, understanding drug and alcohol addiction, understanding their legal rights, and how to deal with the emotional issues of the children in their care.
Children's groups are psycho-social classes lead by trained professional. Some topics discussed include drug and alcohol prevention, family dynamics, feelings, communication skills, stress reduction, anger management, and other important social skills.
Work along side our staff and help where you feel comfortable. You may be asked to help run activities or pull children aside for one on one interactions.
