If you answered YES to any or all of these questions, we encourage you to reach out and learn more about Best Buddies Citizens Program.
The Citizens program matches an adult with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in a one to one friendship with a peer without a disability. This buddy pair develops a friendship like any other and promotes a more inclusive world for adults with and without disabilities.
We are particularly in need of Citizens volunteers in Milwaukee, Waukesha and Dane Counties. We also are hosting quarterly virtual informational sessions for possible volunteers.
