The Salvation Army Westwood Transitional Village is looking for a yoga teacher to teach weekly or bi-weekly yoga to our adult residents. The time commitment would not be more than 1.5 hours a week and we are very conveniently located near UCLA, Westwood Village and Santa Monica. We are looking for someone who is comfortable teaching a group of beginners and is sensitive to working with homeless adults and in a shelter setting. You do not need to be formally trained to apply for this position, just someone who has a strong yoga practice themselves and is comfortable making up a class with different scheduled activities and poses.
