The Day Worker Center will be hosting a Workers' Memorial Day event on April 28, 2025 from 5pm-7pm. We are currently looking for a translator to help translate during the event. There will be speeches in Spanish and we are looking for volunteers that can translate what is said to English.
The event is to honor the memory and the contributions of workers who have lost their lives due to workplace injuries or illnesses. This gathering will bring together workers, advocates, organizations, and community leaders to remember those we have lost, reflect on the importance of workplace safety, and reaffirm our commitment to protecting workers' rights.

Description
The Day Worker Center of Mountain View is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides job-matching services for hundreds of local homeowners and businesses annually.
