In need of some retail therapy? We, at Lucky Dog Thrift Shop, are looking for a Decorator to join our team!

Overview

Tails to Freedom, Inc. (T2F) @ Lucky Dog Thrift Shop (LDTS) at 23 Elm Street Nashua, NH 03060 is seeking 2-3 part time volunteers with customer service experience to design sales displays a few hours a week. Volunteers should be artistically inclined and enterprising.

Description

Clean up after customers and do display touch-ups as needed;

Maintain tidiness of sales floor and ensure all displays are aesthetically pleasing;

Plan sales displays to attract and visually appeal to customers;

Develop ideas or plans for merchandise displays or window decorations;

Select themes, lighting, colors, or props to be used;

Maintain props, products, or mannequins, inspecting them for imperfections, doing touch-ups;

Place new products on the sales floor according to department/presentation.

The interview process for this volunteer position includes a brief verbal interview followed by designing a display for the sales floor.

Out of this mission, Lucky Dog Thrift Shop was born as the fundraising headquarters to Tails to Freedom. We have assisted over 4,000 animals in need right here in New Hampshire since our Shop doors opened twelve years ago in May 2009. Lucky Dog Thrift Shop is a bargain hunter’s paradise. Located in downtown Nashua, NH our shop offers two floors of everything from fashion to furniture in a fun and relaxing environment. Our current operating hours are Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 9:00am-5:00pm.
