Several areas of Kansas City are seeing hardships for both people and pets. This is in part due to COVID and the impacts it has had on people, jobs, housing and a need for increased community services in our hardest hit areas. PRCKC's outreach team is in the field daily and asking for the help of volunteers to assist in our mission to help pets and people stay together. We will be distributing resources, educating pet owners, getting pets signed up for surgery, vaccinating and getting any stray pets to the local shelter. There are many opportunities during the week to work with this team!
