We are seeking a volunteer to make minor edits to our website which uses WordPress. This mainly is just copy and paste work and possibly adding one new page.

Home Roots Foundation is a grassroots nonprofit organization which helps pay student tuition and run economic programs for women and farmers in Haiti. We want to help more people and eradicate extreme poverty.

Since over 80% of schools in Haiti require tuition, uniforms, and supplies, and most students struggle to pay, our mission is to remove money as a barrier for students to receive a quality education. We support existing schools, provide materials, scholarships, and help pay teachers. Due to demand and need, we also started a small women’s entrepreneurial program and started training farmers to increase their yield and income. On Thursdays and Saturdays, we hold the Speak English Together Club (SET-Club), which is an informal school/Club that teaches youth English free of charge.

Please send your inquiry to info@homerootsfoundation.org. Place the title of the volunteer position in the subject line of the email and tell us why you are interested in the position in the body of your email. We appreciate your interest in our work.
