West Place Animal Sanctuary is a forever home for abused, neglected, and abandoned farm animals. We also rehabilitate wildlife and are a temporary holding facility for lost dogs in Tiverton and Little Compton.
West Place does a lot to help the community, but we can't do it all ourselves! We need help from dedicated volunteers who believe in our mission.
We are in need of volunteers who go above and beyond to help with tasks that aren't done as frequently, such as vacuuming and dusting our gift shop, cleaning windows, dusting the barn and duck coop, cleaning tools, etc.
If an animal care shift is short on people, special cleaners may be asked to help out with direct animal care.
This position is perfect for people who enjoy cleaning, enjoy being around animals, but may not be interested in feeding the animals or mucking stalls.
