- A group opportunity. Invite your friends.
It's a long standing tradition at ARC to heat our lodge for the winter months using wood. And to this end we rely on both donated and harvested wood to keep guests toasty and warm during the cold months.
We welcome individuals, teams, or families of volunteers to come and join us in our preparations and to enjoy the outdoor work during the fall season to assist us in chopping, splitting, hauling, and stacking wood.
These opportunities include the following:
Trucks & trailors are always welcomed or just an extra pair of hands or a team to help load and unload local delieveries.
Individuals or teams to assist with wood splitting & stacking.
Volunteers with their own chainsaws who know how to use them safely.
Wood burning/Bonfires. Come sit at the firepit for a day, while burning brush, as weather permits. Delivered picnic included.
Wood chipping debris and laying on the trails.
(Meals are included)
