Interfaith's development team seeks an undergraduate intern with an interest in learning about and gaining experience in back-end operational support for a dynamic team of fundraisers. Working directly with the donor database coordinator and director of development, the intern will engage in a variety of activities beneficial to broadening a nonprofit professional’s experience.

Tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Data entry and uploads into our Raiser’s Edge database
  • Data maintenance and quality control
  • Specialized data clean-up projects
  • Data extraction for solicitations and reporting on giving trends, fundraiser activities, and constituent analytics
  • Best practices research
  • Raiser’s Edge training

This internship provides education and experience in:

  • Raiser’s Edge / RE NXT donor software functionality
  • Non-profit constituent data management
  • Gift entry and acknowledgment processes
  • Data extraction and reporting for fundraising campaigns
  • Development and fundraising activities
  • Administrative and research projects as needed
  • Nonprofit management

Qualifications:

  • Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills
  • Professional demeanor
  • Strong computer skills & a quick learner of new technology
  • Strong interpersonal skills and judgment
  • Ability to self-manage, prioritize, and communicate effectively
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated with a good sense of humor
  • Experience with Raiser’s Edge or other fundraising/CRM software a plus
  • Ability to work in the office and remotely
