Caring Companions 3

When someone is caring for an older loved one, it can become increasingly difficult to focus on their own needs as a caregiver. Are you comfortable visiting with an older adult who may struggle to verbally communicate their thoughts as a result of an age-related disease (such as dementia or Parkinson's)? By giving just 2 hours of your time once a week, you are giving caregivers a much needed break, as well as giving their loved one the opportunity to spend time with you! Caring Companion volunteers know that they are directly providing relief for a caregiver while serving their community in a meaningful and impactful way!

Volunteers DO provide caregiver respite and a social visit with their loved one. Volunteers DO NOT provide personal care, meal preparation, or transportation.
Support and training is provided. Call us today for more information!
