URGENT NEED: Rest Stop Volunteers for Bike MS: Valero Ride to the River

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: National MS Society

MSlogo

Each year, thousands of riders and hundreds of volunteers come out to make our Bike MS: Valero Ride to the River event a possibility. This year’s event is taking place on October 2nd-3rd! The event will kick off in San Antonio where the riders will spend Day 1 braving the ride up to New Braunfels. On Day 2, they will undergo an "out-and-back" both starting and finishing in New Braunfels.

We are currently in need of volunteers to help us staff our Rest Stops along the route. Our Rest Stops are points along the route where our riders can stop and receive encouragement, refreshments, and repairs. We would only need a minimum of 5 volunteers in order to staff each Rest Stop and we will provide all of the materials that you might need. That being said, you are also welcome to bring any additional items in order to make the Rest Stop your own. This opportunity could be a great way for a group to rally together, welcome our riders to their community, and dramatically help those living with MS.
