ORGANIZATION: Friends of MJHS

Committed, outgoing and fun individuals needed to coach our new competitive step team serving youth ages 12-15. The team is small but is often invited to high profile events - so energy and patience with a group of "mixed learners" is a must. You will be partnered with two other seasoned step coaches - one who will be at practice with you and one who does virtual practices.

The team meets on Saturdays from 12:30pm to 3:30pm in lower Manhattan (Hudson/Clarkson Streets) and their season runs until June. We need someone who can start as soon as possible.

Coaching experience is not required, but you must have participated on a school, church, community or fraternal step team. You will be asked to develop complex routines for performances and competitions. In short, on your first day, we trust that you will be able to teach the team an original step. Dance experience is helpful, but not at all required.

No phone calls please.
