A woman with ALS would love a volunteer to come and help clean her house once every other week. She would particularly like help cleaning her bathroom and kitchen counters, as well as vacuuming and ironing. Afternoons would be the best time for a volunteer to visit, for approximately 2 hours each time.

Description
What is ALS?
ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) is a degenerative disease of the central nervous system. ALS results in the progressive weakness of voluntary muscles which often leads to total paralysis. There is no known cause or cure for ALS. People with ALS typically live between two and five years after being diagnosed.
How does The ALS Association help?
We fulfill our mission by offering programs, services, and equipment free of charge to anyone affected by ALS residing in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
