We are in need of Board of Directors members with Nonprofit experience. Ideal candidates would be animal lovers who have worked in animal rescue or pet food pantry. We are in start up phase and just recieved our 501c3. We are a pet food pantry with goals if future farm animal rescue and interactive education center that promotes humane farming. We are not vegans and candidates must have an open mind. We are pro farmer. We are on ground level so this would be an opportunity for you to be part of building the npo from ground up. We are looking for Fundraiser, Secretary, Treasurer, Vice President..Role filed based on experience.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide pet owners with information, resources and support to ensure no pet goes hungry or malnourished through our pet pantry.
Description
We are a Mobile Pet Pantry serving Person County, NC and surrounding areas. We distribute feed to people suffering from financial hardship, low income, disabled, elderly and homeless. Our future goals are to open a farm animal rescue and interactive education center that promotes humane farming. Some courses we'd like to offer are urban homesteading, pasture renewal and basic animal husbandry.

- Since we are in startup there is a lot of work to be done. Willingness to help startup, hardworking, meet in person and hands-on. Also if willing to get hands dirty a plus, cleaning up property and building pet pantry.
