ADOPTION COORDINATORS
If you would like to help families and Labrador Retrievers find one another, join us as an Adoption Coordinator from your home.

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following types of activities:
>receiving and reviewing Adoption Applications
>speaking to potential adopters
>interfacing with the Home Check and Adoption Coordinator teams
>working with and continually updating potential adopters with new dogs who are rescued
The Adoption Coordinator position requires someone with excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as possess knowledge of Facebook and computer skills (Word, Excel). You must like talking on the phone. You should be comfortable working with a diverse group of people.

Lu’s Labs is Powered Entirely by Volunteers. We are always in need of adoption coordinators, Fosters and transporters. Adoption Coordinators are how we make sure our labs are getting paired with the perfect furever family! We are always looking for volunteers to help us review applications and guide potential adoptive families through the process!
Description
Lu’s Labs is an all-volunteer, 501(c)3 non-profit, foster-based rescue for labrador retrievers and lab mixes. Our mission is to assist dogs who are in need of shelter, food, and medical care with the ultimate goal of finding them permanent, loving homes.
We primarily intake from high-kill shelters throughout the southeast and rehome within a 5-hour radius of Alexandria, Virginia.
Since our founding in 2015, Lu’s Labs has matched more than 1,600 dogs with their forever families.
