We need someone with WordPress and CSS skills to clean up and improve the implementation of our website, and make it a robust tool for making the world socially resilient. Our website is a dynamic living entity, integral to our way of working. It is where we tell the world about us. It is where we pass new knowledge and insights to others. But, more importantly (for us), it is where we hold ourselves publicly accountable by documenting our activities, progress, and results. We redesigned the website last year, and have a simple but flexible design that easily accommodates new content, and can grow as we do. However, the implementation needs some attention. Built on Wordpress using the Divi template, the CSS could be simplified, there’s no attention to SEO, and the responsive design is rudimentary. We need your technical wizardry to make it robust, reliable, and, if you are so inclined, help with design extensions as the content expands. True confession: We are very technically literate, with backgrounds in both programming and design. That can make us very exacting, but also makes us extremely appreciative of the skills and effort website implementation and webmastering take. We are intimately familiar with the current site and its implementation, and are more than ready to do a hot handoff, yet remain engaged and supportive.
