Artists Talk on Art, the art worlds longest running panel series, seeks a volunteer/ intern, ideally located in the Hudson Valley of New York or could be Virtual. The ideal candidate is an art history or curatorial major with good Windows computer skills. The primary task includes liaising with Archives of American Art of the Smithsonian and several other institutions, reviewing printed, online and disk media to archive data on the organization's video programs, as well as related documents. Purpose: to prepare an Excel database (spreadsheets) as well a few charts. The archive of ATOA's 1974 through 2016 recordings and papers are already at Smithsonian. A secondary task is to organize 50 recordings by date, subject, title and participating artists and a descriptive document thereof. Some work will be performed at Chairman Emeritus' home in Woodstock, NY, some you can do at home. Time commitment approximately 20 hours per week.
