Sea Save Foundation

My name is Kat, and I am the Assistant Director at Sea Save Foundation, which is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization, and I am in a search of an enthusiastic, organized, research savvy executive assistant!

My perfect candidate would be available Monday through Friday between 9am-5pm PST. A few hours a day would be preferred, but I am flexible, and we can further discuss our agenda and schedule.

I would like you to have good English skills in all areas - writing, reading, and speaking. Communication is key, so we definitely need to understand each other and the tasks at hand.

Basic computer skills are required, but beyond that, I would like you to be research inclined. I would like to give you tasks as we go through the day, to look into something, find something out online, provide me some answers to questions I might have, write up some content, create documents and spreadsheets if need be.

You will need access to Facebook Messenger, this is how I communicate throughout the day with other volunteers and our organization leaders. So please install if you don't have it. Also, if we do need to jump to share screens or video chat, I prefer Zoom and will send you links as required.

Wondeful! If this sounds like you, and you are ready to jump on board with me, I look forward to hearing from you.

Have a great day!

About Sea Save Foundation

20540 Pacific Coast Hwy, Malibu, CA 90265, US

Mission Statement

Sea Save Foundation stands witness to the health of the oceans and the threats they face, we document problems and develop solutions, arm people with knowledge, and tools so they can make a difference. With the public as our ally, we go to the United Nations and other global bodies to effect international change. We attend these meetings so we can offer creative, economically viable, sustainable, and environmentally friendly plans to decision-makers. We also make sure everyone is doing their best to meet their targets.

Sea Save Foundation approaches conservation from two fronts:

  1. We develop and promote inspiring educational campaigns that showcase the beauty of ocean flora and fauna and underscore the current challenges facing our marine ecosystems.
  2. We couple serious environmental issues with concrete advocacy campaigns undertaken by our supporters and partners. With these programs, we hope to raise awareness about the importance of ocean conservation and create sustainable, healthy ecosystems for generations to come. It’s your ocean. Do something about it!
